Smartphones have, undoubtedly, changed the way many of us lead our lives. Whether that’s for the better or worse, I’ll leave for you to decide! However, it isn’t just smartphones that are changing our daily experiences. There is an enormous amount of add-ons and gadgets that can be used with mobiles, too. In this article, we’re going to take a look at a few of them, and see how they can help you get more out of your device and improve your life. Let’s get started straight away.
1. Mobile Keyboard
How many work emails do you respond to on your smartphone every day? If you’re anything like me, it could number in the dozens. The trouble is; nothing is more frustrating than using the fiddly little virtual keyboard. Especially when it changes every other word into something completely different. Not only is it a waste of your time, but it can also lead to some embarrassing situations – particularly if you are sending a business email. So, if you are fed up with spending too long correcting Auto Correct, then how about this for a solution? The Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard works with many different devices and is compact and lightweight. Get one and you will save a lot of time and frustration.
2. Voice Recorder
There are many ways that a voice recorder can help you improve your life. Got a great idea for your business? Those moments can be fleeting, so having a recording device on hand can help you take it down while on the move, without the need for a pen or paper. You can also use them for recording phone calls. It doesn’t matter whether you are prospecting for new clients, answering customer service inquiries or dealing with a problem caller. With a voice recorder, you can have a copy of everything that was said, wherever you field the call.
3. Fitness Gadgets
Now, if anything is going to improve – and extend – your life, then it is one of the many gadgets that you can use with your smartphone to keep you fit and healthy. There is a good range of these new devices – often coming in wristband form – that can help you track what you eat and how much exercise you complete each day. They can also tell you how well you are sleeping and suggest ideas of what you might be doing wrong. There are many to choose from, but we like the Fitbit Flex. Just wear it on your wrist and go about your business, and the link it to the Fitbit app on your phone to check your progress. It’ a great little device and will give you a chance to take control of your life’s problem areas.
